So so busy!

I'm a blog slacker! I have been sooo busy with sessions and also my website I've been slacking here....sorry! But the good news is that I should have some previews soon and I did put the request in to go live yesterday, so I should have my website active any day now......check back soon!

Day one down, 2 to go!

Wow, my head was spinning when I got home last night from all of the information swimming around in there! Yesterday we learned about Studio and now, you guessed it.... I want a studio! That may have to wait until early next year or spring but it may be a possibility in the future! We had such cute models to work with and Brianna is such a inspiration! I'm so excited for today which is the Urban on location portion of the workshop. I didn't sleep well last night because I was so excited! I can't wait to share some of the pictures I get! Be back with an update from day two!

Off to the workshop in the morning!

Well it's finally come the Brianna Graham workshop starts tomorrow! I am excited and a little nervous, but mostly anxious to learn. I will answer all emails when I can get to them. Hope to have pictures to show you very soon!!

Yep it's official, I'm addicted to Canvas!

I've had several requests to show some pictures of the canvases I've gotten recently. So here are a few pics of the 2 I just ordered. I am in LOVE with canvas. What do I love about canvas you ask? It's durable, it's ready to hang no frame needed, it's dimensional (1 and 1/2 inches deep), it has a yummy texture to it,and it looks so much more like a piece of art. They only thing I don't like about mine......I wish I made them bigger! I went with 16x24's and now I wish I had gone with 20x30's. Well, something tells me I have many more canvases in my future! My new logo!

I am so excited about my new logo. I just got it last night and I think it truly represents my style. Clean, classic and fun! I'm not sure if I'll stick with these colors but it's a start.

It's all in a name, why I chose Follow Your Art Photography

Everyone knows how important giving something a name can be. A lot of people have asked me how I came up with the name for my photography business. It's simple really. I wanted to incorporate the word art, not only for the obvious reasons but because ART represents the first initials in my daughters, my husbands and my name. I thought of Follow Your Art Photography and it immediately stuck. It's the perfect name for me! My ART, both my family and my photography is my passion! And I plan to follow that passion with all of my heart for the rest of my life!

It is my intention to create a beautiful piece of art for your family. Something that you will proudly display in your home. Not just because it's a beautiful picture, but because it's a beautiful memory of your family or loved ones, those things that are closest to your heart. I hope to capture moments that you will look back on and cherish for a lifetime!

And on a funny note. When I was choosing a name, for a short moment I thought Work of Art sounded nice. Then I thougth of what it might look like in a web address..... workofart.com Do you see what I see? Needless to say, that one got a big VETO.
