a Little OCF

I wanted to share a few more pictures from my trip down to St. George. the night before the workshop I went out and shot a little ocf on the beautiful red rocks of Dixie rock. I tried a little different editing on these....just trying to mix it up a bit. Hope you enjoy!

It should be called a Play Shop

Because it just doesn't feel like work to me.....at all! I had such an amazing time at my workshop this last weekend in St. George Utah. I was so lucky to have 10 amazing photographers come from Utah, Arizona, Washington DC, Minnesota, Canada and Idaho and what a talented group they were for sure! It's always just so relaxing to be surrounded by people who share your obsession and the passion of photography. I was so nervous about the weather but it mostly held out for us. We had a lot of wind, but I just love wind in pictures so I was thrilled with that. It did get cloudy the last hour of the night, but that made for some great silhouettes.

I really am thrilled that it was so much fun and just a great weekend of learning. It's always a little hard to come home after the adrenaline of the weekend wears off, but it was great to see my baby girl, who I just adore beyond words.

Also, I have already received a bunch of emails asking me about when I will be hosting another workshop. Well, I hope to do another in the Fall, probably late September. In the meantime, I may have another opening or 2 for one on one mentoring here in Utah this spring (or even possibly a group of 2-3). So if you are interested please email me for details.

Holy cow it's been a month!

Oops.......I can't believe it 's been almost a month since I've posted! Sorry, life has been well kind of crazy. I've really enjoyed just taking some time off towards the end of November. Also I've been busy working hard on something I hope to announce in a few weeks so make sure and check back for info soon! I promised I would share some more of previous posts. So here's a few to hold you over for a few more weeks. Make sure to check back. Hope you are all having a great Holiday Season so far......I just adore this time of year!

Amelia {Utah High School Senior Photographer}

I had such a great time the other night with Amelia. She is so hilarious and so easy to work with too! I promise I will be back with a ton more posts soon, but I am playing catch up with all of the sessions I had to reschedule due to crazy weather and being sick. So I just have a small sneak peek for now, but I have sooo many more to come!!

Meet Emily {Utah High School Senior Photographer}

So as promised here are the rest of Emily. She was so much fun to work with, up for anything, and so beautiful....a perfect combination. Oh and I also wanted to thank all of you who have sent me emails abut hosting another workshop. I am not announcing any concrete dates as of yet, but I will probably host another in the spring of next year, so if you are interested, shoot me an email and I'll add you to the list of those interested and will contact you if I host another....thanks!!

Sneak peek for Emily {Utah High School Senior Photographer}

I have to scream it out loud...............I LOVE SENIOR SESSIONS..................didn't hear me??? I LOVE SENIOR SESSIONS...................there................... I feel much better now!! I had so much fun last night with Emily, she is so gorgeous and is so much fun! She has the cutest vintage style and such a mature, cool personality. I will have many more to come soon, only one for now....I think this is my favorite of the night.......this, in my opinion, is the perfect pocket of light! It's going to be impossible for me to recap just how much fun I had this last Saturday at my first workshop! Smiling from ear to ear.....that's me!! What a great group of talented photographers that made the trip! So much fun and so sweet too. I am just going to let the pictures speak for themselves!! I will also add some links soon of the other photographers who attended so you can also see their amazing pictures. THANK YOU to everyone who came, it was......well......pretty dang amazing!!
