Mom and son {Utah family Photographer}

I was so lucky to get to spend the night with this awesome mom and son! Not only are they gorgeous, and super photogenic, they are both so nice too! Great combination right? Oh and their clothes....perfect!! We had a ton of fun roaming around downtown. I just love the bond these 2 have together it just shows through so much in these pictures. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Thanks again you guys!

Me and Mine {Utah family photographer}

I am so happy I got to spend the day with my family up in the canyon enjoying the beautiful fall leaves. I am just not sure where the year has gone?? But it has made it's way around again to my most favorite time of the year. Fall to me is my heaven. The colors, the smells, the weather. I could live in this short few weeks all year long. It just makes my soul sing.......It was a PERFECT day, the kind that makes you count your blessings over and over again, I love my little family!! And of course my camera was in tow, here are just a few of the pictures that make my heart happy (:

This one just might make it's way to a canvas.

So my husband offered to take my picture in the leaves (he did a pretty good job too), and who was I to say no (: I am rarely on the other side of the camera, so I guess today was my day!

I've been wanting to take some pictures of my husband fly fishing, and it was perfect. The light was amazing, the scenery was breathtaking, the fish were biting and I have to say my husband is so handsome!

This shot is not the best technically but I was so excited I got this shot...too cool!

Meet Emily {Utah High School Senior Photographer}

So as promised here are the rest of Emily. She was so much fun to work with, up for anything, and so beautiful....a perfect combination. Sneak peek for Emily {Utah High School Senior Photographer}

I have to scream it out loud...............I LOVE SENIOR SESSIONS..................didn't hear me??? I LOVE SENIOR SESSIONS...................there................... I feel much better now!! I had so much fun last night with Emily, she is so gorgeous and is so much fun! She has the cutest vintage style and such a mature, cool personality. I will have many more to come soon, only one for now....I think this is my favorite of the night.......this, in my opinion, is the perfect pocket of light! It's going to be impossible for me to recap just how much fun I had this last Saturday at my first workshop! Smiling from ear to ear.....that's me!! What a great group of talented photographers that made the trip! So much fun and so sweet too. I am just going to let the pictures speak for themselves!! I will also add some links soon of the other photographers who attended so you can also see their amazing pictures. THANK YOU to everyone who came, it was......well......pretty dang amazing!!

Whew, how much fun was that!!

Wow is all I can say about the day I had yesterday! I hosted my first workshop and it was so much fun! I had a great group of photographers from all over the states, two from California, two from Canada, one from North Carolina, one from Utah and Oh geez I've done it again, one of the M states in the middle (sorry Jen, Michigan right?) Anyways, it was such a great group of very talented photographers! The weather was not my best friend at times, we had rain and dark clouds (that made for some great photographs too) but gratefully the sun did find it 's way out often enough. I also had the BEST most AMAZING group of models. It was great to have enough models to work one on one with the photographers. The models were sooo much fun and seriously....GORGEOUS!! Thanks again you gorgeous girls!

I will have so many images from the workshop but I'm just trying to regain my sanity a bit today and enjoy my family so I will be back with many more soon!

But for now just one to hold ya over.....Oh and I got a new lens on Friday....it's love for sure!

Rest In Peace Patrick Swayze

My heart is sad today. So many great memories of growing up and all of the Patrick Swayze movies. The outsiders was always a huge favorite of mine. Dirty Dancing came out when I was in 7th grade, I can still remember seeing it in the movie theaters and I listened to that soundtrack ENDLESSLY. I had the hugest crush in 7th grade on Jeff and The song Hungry Eyes was always the song we would dance to. I can still remember what I wore when I went to see Ghost in 9th grade, we waited in line for hours to get in, and I cried so much throughout that movie. Red Dawn is still one of my all time favorites, and point break too. So many wonderful memories........rest in peace.......

A night full of fun light {Utah wedding photographer}

I had the fun opportunity to do bridals/groomals for Malae and Clayton. She told me she loved my use of creative light so that's what we were shooting for. It was fun session, lots of great light, and lots of love between these two! And another huge shout out to my assistant Chellese, who is not only the best assistant ever but such a great friend and she makes me laugh, you ROCK girl!!

I'm also so excited for my workshop that is just about a week away, so watch for fun pictures from that soon! Oh and I have another new post below too, it's a fun one so check it out!
