Love this light! {utah child photographer}

I went back to the nursery to shoot this last weekend with my great friend and her beautiful daughter. I have so so so many more to share but just wanted to share a couple from the nursery. We found a few pockets of light that were just so beautiful. Thanks girls I had a blast! Many more to come!

Nikon D300 for sale - SOLD

SOLD I am selling my 9 month old Nikon D300 (and everything that came in the box, the manual, cords, strap etc.) with an fully transferable extended warranty. It's very hard to find a used camera that is covered by a warranty! It is a 3 year diamond warranty from www.mackcam.com I have 2 years and 2 months left on the warranty. I paid $400 for the warranty. The warranty is awesome. It covers manufacturer defects, impact damage, sand/grit damage, accidental and unintentional abuse, mechanical malfunctions, normal and abnormal wear and tear, and 2 free cleanings.

I will accept cash or paypal but you must pay the paypal fees (which are 3%, an additional $39). I bought the camera at Allen's camera in Orem last June so I've only had it 9 months. I asked Allen's camera what I should sell this combo for he said to ask $1500, and because I want to sell it quick I decided to ask $1300. It will sell fast!

It is an awesome camera and has been wonderful for me. I just upgraded to the D700 that is the only reason I am selling.

happy birthday little guy! {utah child photographer}

Oh I had sooo much fun last night working with this sweet little guy who will turn 1 tomorrow. He was such a trooper in the freezing wind we had to deal with. Seriously how CUTE is he!! I have sooo many more to share of this session, stay tuned for more!

I like the UPS guys because.........

1) They are always so nice when they bring me packages!

2) They are even so nice when they see me at 9:00 in the morning, trust me it's scary!

3) They always bring me my packages on time!

4) They even brought my NEW D700 on time this morning!!!!

Woohooo!!! Yep I decided it was time for an upgrade so I had a wild hair and bought the D700 yesterday and had it shipped overnight (I can never wait). It's a beautiful camera, can't wait to use it on tonight's session!! Wooohoooo!!!!

Fresh faces update! See below

Looking for some fresh new faces!! Updated!

So here's the deal. I'm on the search for some fresh new faces to photograph. What does that mean? I'm looking to build my portfolio in a few areas and want to put out a model search for certain specific clients. What is it I'm looking for? Check out the list below. Please be aware that with these sessions I will require that a model release be signed so I can publish (on my blog or website) pictures from your session. All sessions will take place at the location and time of my choice. I will also be looking for those that will be willing to go along with my artistic vision of the session. You will receive the session free of charge with a free mounted 8x10 a $160 value! (with the option to purchase images on disc or prints at regular price, please email me for details). I will only be offering the free session and discount to the first person who books with me for each category, so all spots will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Thanks!

Maternity- I'm looking for a cute pregnant belly to photograph. I have a million ideas in my head for a fun maternity session. I'm looking for a stylish, fit, mom to be, willing to have her belly photographed, who will be in the 32nd-36th week of pregnancy in May, June or July. SESSIONS FILLED!

Newborn twins- Anyone have two little one's you're waiting on? I would love to work with twins, (geez, you think I might be a bit baby hungry(: ). I would need to photograph them within the first 10 days they are home for the best possible pictures so please keep that in mind. Still looking for sweet twins!

Babies- Must be between the ages of 6-10 months (in either Late May or June). The baby must be able to sit up unassisted. I love working with this age, oh it's so much fun, so please let me know if you are interested. (Ok it's official, I'm baby hungry!) Session filled!

Seniors- Updated!-I am looking for one stylish outgoing senior boy and one stylish outgoing senior girl who will graduate in 2010 and be willing to be a senior rep for me. This session will need to take place this summer. Please send me a picture if interested and contact me for full details.

Children of various races-while I have been so blessed to work with many beautiful children, I have had limited opportunities to work with children of different races other than caucasian. I would love to expand my portfolio to include beautiful children of all races and colors. Sessions filled

No vacation for us......

Well I was supposed to be in Lake Havasu this weekend cheering the hubby on in the triathalon he raced. But both my baby and I got sick and I decided it would be best to stay home. Yesterday we both felt a bit better and we had such a fun time at a local nursery picking out flowers. The light was soo beautiful in there I grabbed a few picks. I would love to do an actual session in this nursery, so if anyone is game let me know! I also found a new location that I love and got my daughter's new pink skirt in the mail last week (from American Eagle's 77 kids) so I thought we'd try for a few more picks since she's been so hard lately. We were there for 10 minutes and I got a few I love. I'll be getting back to emails and messages tomorrow. Hope you all have had a great weekend.

Little Leprechaun.....and out of town.

I was LUCKY enough to get a whole 5 shots of my little leprechaun yesterday, this was the best of the bunch. She reeeeally doesn't like my camera now a days so I take what I can get ya know. Anyways, I will be out of town until mon. and will answer all emails then. Off to Lake Havasu AZ....warm weather.....ahhhhhhh!

Remember the contest I had back In January?

If not, I had a contest where I had people send in their favorite picture from 2008. I gave away a free session. Well tonight I got to work with the lucky winner! It was a lot of fun and of course I have way too many pictures to choose from again! Anywho, here is just a small sneak peak, I'll have more soon.

I've been dying to try this out (nope I'm not original on this I've seen it done before by a wonderful photographer Kara May) but his cute little shoes and his sweet little face just called for this. I'm so happy it turned out. I'm taking my baby out to try this ASAP!!
