Christmas Spirit
Well, we are all mostly on the mend at my house and I finally found some time to get my tree up. I was having such a hard time finding the Christmas Spirit this year due to all of us being so sick, but it finally hit me the other night. My husband, my daughter and I went to see a great Christmas light display that you can drive through (for locals it's the one at Thanksgiving point), I told my husband I needed a little Christmas cheer. So off we went to see the lights. The look in my daughters eyes the minute we pulled up to the entrance, and the cutest little "Oh My" that she squealed was all I needed to make it feel like Christmas. I then saw the next ten years of Christmas' flash before my eyes and I smiled from ear to ear. What an amazing time of year Christmas is, and what a blessing it is to be able to watch your children learn about the joy this time of year has to offer. And it makes my heart smile to know that she's learning the true meaning of Christmas, as we drove out of the light display they have a manger set up at the end and as we drove by my sweet little angel of a daughter said so softly "love you Jesus"........

Gorgeous as always! Love the star effect, and the ones with your daughter just look so precious. What were you shooting at to take those?
Thanks Tara!!
I shot the first one in a dark room with only tree light. ISO 1600, F4, SS 1/50 camera mounted on a tripod.
These are so great! You've inspired me to decorate the tree. ;)
That first picture is ADORABLE! Love it! You do great work!
Oh wow, love the colouring of the shots, and the light!
Absolute perfection! But I wouldn't expect anything less from you! That top picture looks like it should be the front cover of a childrens Christmas book, it's gorgeous.
Beautiful!! These seriously took my breathe away - they perfectly capture the magic of Christmas. And, hey - where did that second one with your daughter go? I loved it. I agree with the post that said the first one looks like it should be on a book/magazine cover! (gorgeous job on the tree, by the way)
That first picture makes my heart melt. How beautiful. I love your work.
Gosh! I am so stinking jealous first of all that you have such mad skill with your camera, secondly that your tree is so amazingly beautiful, and third that you are able to actually wrap your presents and put them under the tree, My 20 month old and 7 month old would destroy mine if I put them under the tree.
Jealous as I maybe, its still all very inspiring! Hmmmm, wonder if my kids will humor me with cute pj's and candy canes tonight.....hmmmm.
Oh btw, you talked about email problems last post. the last time I commented on your blog I got about 2 or 3 emails a day for several days saying that something was wrong and it couldn't reach you but the comments were posted after being viewed all the same! Hopefully the glitch is fixed!
Oh wow everyone thanks, sincerely thank you!! Ya know the reason I got into photography was so I would be able to take beautiful pictures of my daughter. It makes me so happy to know that she will have her life beautifully documented as she grows.
And April thanks for letting me know about the comment problem. I figured it out, I had an old email attached to it, it's fixed everyone so comment away!!!
My first comment must have caught in the glitch so here I go again! :)
Oh Tiffany!! These are so beautiful! That first one looks like it should be on a Christmas card! These are pictures to treasure of your precious baby girl forever. Also, I enjoyed your story before the pictures. Have a Merry Christmas with your family!

Oh my gosh!!! Im loving these tree shots and the creativity youve put into not only the tree decor, but actually capturing the images as well! Love them!!! I really want to take a more "lifestyle" approach to things next year for my family, I love capturing things like this Ill have to try the star filter how fun!
Girlfriend, you rock! Love the pics, the tree, your post...everything! Glad to hear you got your christmas spirit-motivation thingy majiggy going! My kids and I are just getting over a really bad stomach virus ourselves. Knocked me out harder than the kids, hanging in there though. Looking forward to more of your beautiful work! Take care...
Wow, these are beautiful!!!!
Sooo magical! Love them. I wish my tree looked that beautiful!
You guys are so sweet! I worked at Gardner village for 4 years before I had my daughter, so I spent way too much money on Christmas decorations! But what's a girl supposed to do when you get one heck of a discount?? (:
Wow, can we come to your house for Christmas? So cute!
Oh goodness! I just love your photography!! Pretty tree.
once again...beautiful. she is absolutely going to love how you have beautifully documented your family and her life growing up. i wish i only had once ounce of your talent.
Ok...you seriously need to submit those to Hallmark! They are just beautiful! What a treasure!
absolutely beautiful!
What a merry moment! Soooo beautiful. I think it would be so neat to have a puzzle made out of the first one. Hope you and your family are feeling better.
Merry Christmas!
Amazing!!! I have tried so many times to get my christmas tree pictures to be as amazing as these and sadly it has not happened! I love your work.
