I have to apologize again for being so behind on my blog! I have been sick all week, thankfully it's not swine flu, but a nasty cold is still no fun! So with the weather and me being sick I've had to reschedule like crazy, but the good news I will have a lot of sessions next week so I'll have lots to share soon. I did however get to shoot this cute family last weekend. I only have one for now but will be back with more.
With the amazing Ali Hohn again. She came back to Utah for another workshop and stayed here at my house. I tagged along this morning to day 3 of her workshop. It was good times! Just wanted to share a quick shot from this morning! Thanks again Ali for letting me tag along! hope you make it back out to Utah again!
First I must say I am so behind on blogging, sorry about that everyone! Tis the busy season! I have to share some from my most recent session. This is not only a great client but a good friend of mine ( who is so stunning I might add!!). I have had the privilege to work with them a few times now and they are just so much fun to photograph! They are just very laid back, so comfortable and truly allow me to capture the real them. It was so much fun to work with you, I hope to work with you again in the future!!
I think my heart belongs to the coast. By the sand and water. My little sweetie is also a little beach bum. She could have spent the whole vacation digging in the sand. It was so much fun to watch....and yes we buried the binky!! and....It worked!! I will have a million more pictures to share in the next few weeks....but for now one of my favorites! Now off to answer a couple hundred emails.......be patient with me (:
Just a reminder I will be gone until Oct. 16th and will answer all calls and emails when I get back! Also a heads up that I am almost booked for Nov. I only have room for 1 or maybe 2 more sessions, please email me and let me know if you are interested! I also will not be booking any sessions Dec. 12th-Jan. 6th. Just want to spend the holidays stress free this year. Which means I only have very few dates available for 2009. Now off to my vacation!
Wow, I have been so busy lately, so unfortunately the blog is a bit behind! Sorry about that. I've got a small sneak peek of a cutie I shot this week. Also I was invited to speak at the Scrap Girl Convention yesterday. I spoke about tips and tricks to shooting in manual and a good handful of other things. It was a blast, what a fun group of ladies (there were about 150+ ladies and a few guys too). So thank you all for the invitation to speak, it was fun ( a bit nerve wracking too) but mostly fun!
Also I will be away from my computer and my phone from tomorrow Sat. Oct. 10th until Fri. Oct 16th. We are taking a family vacation to San Diego.....oh I can't wait!! Lots of beach going', the zoo, sea world to do, and mostly just getting away from the responsabilties of life to just relax and chill, well except for all of the running around after a 3 year old we will be doing......Oh and thanks to my assistant Chellese for her awesome suggestion to bury my sweeties binky at the beach. Yep, I know it's bad my daughter is HOOKED like crazy to her binky (just at night though so never during the day) the more we talk about taking it away the more she's attached to it.....I am OVER that. So my cute assistant Chellese suggested we bury it at the beach when we go...GREAT IDEA!!! So this morning I talked to my daughter about burying her binky at the beach.....and......she is SO excited that she gets to grow a binky tree at the beach. She actually rounded up a few binkies and said she wanted to plant more binky trees! Oh I so hope this works! I told her I would take a picture of her planting her binky tree...she's so cute!

I have had the privilege to work with this amazing woman twice now (I photographed her family back in February). Not only is she drop dead gorgeous with a great sense of style, she is truly a genuinely nice person too. She truly is beautiful inside and out! We spent a fun morning in the studio and captured some amazing portraits. Can you believe she has 3 kids.....WOW, she looks stunning! I believe that every woman should have portraits taken of themselves, because we are all beautiful and deserve to feel beautiful in pictures! Thanks again for such a fun morning...now I just need to get someone to take some studio shots of me (:
